Did you miss camp? No worries! NCFCA offers recordings of their online camps in the NCFCA Shop. Their Intro to Value Debate Camp meets the requirement to debate with Oaks.
Oaks Speech & Debate Club is hosting summer camps in 2023 for Lincoln-Douglas value debate (July 24-26) and speech (July 27-28) from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Willowbrook Baptist Church in Jones Valley.
Register by July 21.
Parents are highly encouraged to attend with their students, but dropping off is permitted for camps. The dress code for camps is casual but modest.
Camp Pricing
Camp includes instruction, group activities, handouts, and a practice round of debate or speech for students 11-18 years old.
Debate camp is required for Oaks debaters who are new to competitive debate and highly encouraged for everyone else. If these dates do not work for you, please register for NCFCA's online Intro to Value Debate camp (recorded). Speech camp is encouraged for all, but not required. Register by July 21, 2023.
Prices are per student. In order to take advantage of the Oaks Members discount, students must already be registered for 2023-2024 and their membership dues paid for the upcoming year. Save money per camp by registering for both (must be the same student).
